RE:       University Convocation Monday, April 2, 2007

 

This is to remind all faculty, staff and students of the University
Convocation to be held Monday, April 2, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the
University Auditorium (Ferguson Social Sciences Building).  Our speaker will
be The Honorable K. Michael Conaway, United States Congressman from District
11 in Texas (and the first alumnus since Sam Rayburn to serve in Congress).
ALL 10:00 A.M. CLASSES WILL BE CANCELED TO ALLOW FACULTY AND STUDENTS TO
ATTEND THIS IMPORTANT EVENT.  IN ADDITION, OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED FROM 10:00
- 11:00 SO THAT STAFF MEMBERS CAN ATTEND.
