Over the years, the track at the Memorial Stadium has been made available to
university students, personnel and citizens of the community. This spring
when the new surface was installed, the track was closed.

Starting July 2, 2007, the track will again be open for university/community
use. The following procedures will be observed by those using the track.

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY - COMMERCE MEMORIAL STADIUM

PROCEDURES FOR USE OF FACILITY, STUDENTS, & STAFF

The track at Texas A&M University-Commerce Memorial Stadium will be open to
the community and campus Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00 a.m.
and from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. for walking and jogging. Users of the track may
enter the facility through the south turnstile. The Athletics Department
will provide facility supervisors during these time periods to assist guests
with questions and are available in case of an emergency.

The university requests that walkers and joggers use lanes one and two for
walking activities and lanes seven and eight for jogging. Strollers are
permitted only on the track and only in lanes five and six. Skateboards,
bicycles and other such equipment are not permitted inside the fence of the
Stadium.

In order to maintain the appearance of the facility and protect the new
surfaces, the following are prohibited:

*         Smoking/use of any tobacco products inside the Stadium fence;

*         Use of or activities on the football field itself;

*         Use of the steeplechase pit and/or hurdles;

* Use of the long jump and triple jump sand pits.

For safety reasons, all individuals are asked to keep a safe and reasonable
distance from all light poles, electrical poles, and all other
electrical/utility boxes and outlets.

Please take care of the track and make sure others do as well by reporting
prohibited or inappropriate behavior to the University Police Department at
903-886-5868.
