Rotary International Scholarships are available to university students for
the 2008-2009 school year to attend a university in a foreign country.
Scholarships are for one academic year (usually nine months) and the Rotary
Foundation will fund up to $25,000 for transportation and living expenses.
The Commerce Rotary Club has sponsored more than 20 Texas A&M
University-Commerce students for study aboard. Men and women are equally
eligible to apply and the applicant may be a graduate or undergraduate
student. The applicant must be proficient in the language of the country
where they wish to study.

The deadline for application to a local Rotary Club is Wednesday, March 28.
Contact Dr. James Klein, Dean for the College of Arts & Sciences at
903/886-6667 for more information on eligibility and application procedures.
