The Texas A&M-Commerce Chorale, directed by Dr. Witwer, will begin the
evening with selections from their recent concert tour to South Texas,
including Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque and a rousing rendition of The Most
Wonderful Time of the Year, arranged by Jerry Rubino.  Fifty students from
high schools around the state will join Chorale for a performance of Leonard
Bernstein's Chichester Psalms with pianist Dee Ann Gorham, and the concert
will conclude with the combined choirs singing Allen Koepke's Wade in the
Water.  Most of the area high school students are preparing to audition for
the Texas All-State Choir in January and will be on our campus to work with
choral and vocal faculty during the afternoon.
