Dear Students:
 
Welcome to the Fall 2007 Semester!  We want to remind you that we will
adhere to the established drop deadline provided in the academic calendar if
you have not paid ½ of your tuition/fees by Monday, September 3, at 7:00
p.m.  
 
If you are having difficulty paying, you may contact the Bursar's office for
a short-term loan by calling 903-886-5051 and 903-886-5551 or loan
information and forms can be accessed on the University website at
<http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/fiscal/studentaccounts/loans.htm>
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/fiscal/studentaccounts/loans.htm. Funds are
limited and you must meet the criteria provided on the website. We encourage
you to apply for this loan as soon as possible if you know you will have
difficulty meeting the deadline.
 
Students with pending financial aid awards and those going through the
appeals process should contact the Bursar's Office on Monday, September 3,
if their aid has not applied to their student account over the weekend.
 
Schedules can be reinstated if payment (1/2 of tuition and fees) is made by
the 12th class day (September 11) if the instructor and dean approve.  A
reinstatement form can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar.
 
Please be sure to review your class schedule to ensure you are attending the
correct class, section and times.  The deadline to change schedules is
Thursday, August 30.  The last day to drop a course(s) with a refund, if
still remaining enrolled, is September 11.  Students wishing to drop all of
their courses should submit a withdrawal form and are subject to withdrawal
fees.  Please adhere to the academic calendar for withdrawal percentages,
dates and deadlines.
