[Students] End of the Year Awards Nomination Packets and WORKSHOP

Student Organization Leaders and Advisors,

 

The End of the Year Awards Banquet is just around the corner.  This means,
it is time to start thinking about your nominations for this year's awards.
There are 15 different award categories which seek to recognize the
outstanding efforts of individuals, advisors, as well as entire
organizations.    

 

Attached is the End of the Year Awards Nomination Packet for student
organization awards.  The packet can be completed on your computer, but
prior to submission you will need to print out relevant award cover sheets
(from the packet) and attach any supplementary information requested.  You

Completed nominations are due to the Campus Activities Office by 5pm,
Monday, April 16, 2007.  

 

Save the Date

The End of the Year Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at
6:30pm in the Texas Ballroom.  Two complimentary tickets are available to
each recognized student organization.  We ask that one ticket be reserved
for your organization's advisor and the other be reserved for an executive
officer of your organization.  Additional tickets may be purchased for $10
each at the Campus Activities Office.  Please call the Campus Activities
Office at 903.886.5816, or stop by, to pick-up tickets for your
organization.  The RSVP deadline is 5pm, Thursday, April 19, 2007.

This is a workshop designed to assist you in completing your End of the Year
Awards Nomination Packet and answer any questions you may have pertaining to
it.  Additionally, this workshop will provide you with creative ideas for
recognizing and celebrating the efforts of members of your organization who
