In regards to: Homecoming Bon Fire Pep Rally

Dear Student Organizations,

 

            Homecoming is quickly approaching and it is time to start
thinking about entering this year's Spirit Contest at the Bon Fire Pep Rally
on Friday, October 27th at 8pm.  The entry requirement is an Organization
Spirit Sign (details included below).  Organizations that enter the contest
by submitting a sign will be judged on their spirit at the Friday night Bon
Fire Pep Rally.  Cash prizes will be awarded for first ($300), second
($200), and third ($100) places.  

            Organization Spirit Signs should include the name of your
Organization and any other spirited information or designs you wish.  Each
sign will be displayed on the Bon Fire.  Signs that contain vulgar language
or images will not be displayed or counted as entry to the contest.  If you
have any questions concerning this please contact Emily Shipman at
903-886-5793 or Shelly Matikiewicz at 903-468-3172.  The signs must be made
of 100% burnable materials (non-explosive) (paper or cloth) and should not
exceed 4ft. x 8ft. in size.  

            Organization Spirit Signs are due by 5pm, Wednesday, October
25th.   The signs should be submitted to Emily Shipman in the Campus
Activities Office (202D, Memorial Student Center).
