Join us for the tailgate party at the Morris Recreation Center before the
Texas A&M University-Commerce and Southwestern Oklahoma football game on
Saturday, Nov. 11. The tailgate party, set from noon to 2 p.m., is being
moved from the West Lawn of the Sam Rayburn Memorial Student Center due to
special activities for the Veterans Vigil. The Moving Wall, a half-size
replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be on the
West Lawn Thursday, Nov. 9, through Sunday, Nov. 12. On Nov. 11, the
Recreation Center will be open to the public. Parking will be reserved for
tailgating at the west end of the Science Building Parking Lot C. Lunch
will be provided by campus caterer Sodexho for $6. A&M-Commerce employees
and students can use their meal plan or Lion Card,

Student organizations must be present at the tailgate party and football
game to participate in the spirit contest. $200 will be awarded to the
first place winner and $100 to the second place winner. A patriotic
pre-game show is scheduled about 1:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium before the 2
p.m. kickoff. Please join us for the last home football game!
