Re:	Baby Boomer: Old School Talent Show
We, the National Association of Colored Women’s Club,
would like to extend an invitation to you to participate
and/or attend our “Baby Boomer: Old School Talent Show”
on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The idea behind this talent show is that the students
participating in the program would perform a song by an
artist of the 1950’s, 1960’s, or 1970’s. Students may
choose to select a group song or individual song, and all
performers are encouraged to dress similar to the artist
they have chosen. There will be no judges; the audience
decides the winners. Cash prizes are available for first
place, second place, and third place winners. This event is
open to the entire campus, so this program would be a
wonderful opportunity to showcase your organization and to
boost the morale of the campus. In addition, there will be
cash prizes for first, second, and third place winners.

If you are interested in participating in this event,
tryouts will be today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the American
Ballroom. Special arrangements can be made for those who are
unable to tryout at this time.

Please consider participating in or attending the “Baby
Boomer: Old School Talent Show.” Your participation and
attendance is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions
or concerns, please call Tammie Reed at (903) 468-8408 or
Sharon Thomas at (903) 468-8410.
