Rotary International scholarships are available to college students for the
2007-2008 school year to attend a university in a foreign country.
Scholarships are for one academic year (usually nine months) and the Rotary
Foundation will fund up to $25,000 for transportation and living expenses.

The Commerce Rotary Club has sponsored more than 20 Texas A&M
University-Commerce students for study aboard. Men and women are eligible
to apply and the applicant may be a graduate or undergraduate student. The
applicant must also be proficient in the language of the country where they
wish to study.

The deadline for application to the Commerce Rotary Club is Wednesday, March
29, 2006. Contact Dr. James Norwood, retired A&M-Commerce faculty member,
at 903/886-3287 for more information on eligibility and application
procedures.
