[Students] RE: Tailgate and Football

TAILGATE:  If you weren't there Saturday you missed a lot of fun and great
music by Dr. Doctor.  Join us again on Saturday, September 10 on the West
Lawn at 4:00 p.m.  If you were at Lionpalozza last week and enjoyed the
music, TriXon, one of the local bands is returning to play. The festivities
will begin at 4 p.m., two hours before the home game.

Food and fixin's will be on sale for $6. You can use your meal plan, Lion
Card or just plain cash. The menu includes fried chicken, grilled pork
chops, grilled vegetables, roasted corn on the cob, pasta salad, dessert and
drink.  Drinks will also be sold separately for $2.

Everyone is welcome!! Be there early and watch the Lions walk to the stadium
at 4:00 p.m.


FOOTBALL:  Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. come watch the Lions
face Midwestern State at Memorial Stadium. Tickets are still available.  To
purchase tickets call the Athletic Department at (903) 886-5558.

Remember:  No outside food or drink will be allowed inside the stadium.  All
food and drink will be disposed of at the stadium entrance.


ROAD TRIP:  Also, don't forget our road trip to Durant, Okla., where the
Lions will play the Southeastern Oklahoma Savages on Saturday, Oct. 15. The
bus fare includes the ride, a boxed lunch and the game ticket. This is the
only out of town game that the Pride Marching Band will be attending. Call
