<p class="MsoNormal">I have finished reading all of the suggestions from our questionnaire and a really love your responses. Some of them were also very funny! Hopefully we have time for most of these activities and I am sure we will have a great semester together.

<p class="MsoNormal">In our last meeting, we discussed our first physics day, which will be
<u>October 8^th</u>! Physics days are opportunities that SPS has to show members of the public, university, or nearby school systems how applicable and fun physics is! We also like to promote our department and university. To accomplish this feat
 we set up a lot of interesting and educational demonstrations. If you are new to SPS, then you might not know a lot about the kinds of demonstrations we have. This upcoming
<u>Monday (the 19^th) from 5:00-6:00 pm</u> the officers and I will be pulling out some of these physics demonstrations. So if you like tinkering with physics equipment and want to learn how to set up these activities please join us!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We also discussed having our own shirts! I am currently having a company sketch out a few designs for us, and I will keep everyone updated on their status.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">During our second meeting, which will be the <u>26^th of September from 5-6 pm in room 107</u> we will discuss the necessary steps to becoming an official national Society of Physics member and an honors member of Sigma Pi Sigma.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Lastly, I would like to ask everyone to like our ManeSync page (through MyLeo) and I encourage you to also like our Facebook page. The reason I ask our members to like our ManeSync page is not necessarily as a means to have another channel
 to spread information. Liking our ManeSync page allows our organization to get funding, awards, and recognition at the university level. After meeting everyone, I know that you all will be very excellent members and that I can expect to get a bunch of notifications
 from our ManeSync membership section. :-)&nbsp; <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"><br>
