[SPS] SPS Meeting (9/27)

[Cristo Sanchez]

Howdy everyone!

First off, I hope everyone has had a great start to their week.

Second, this coming Thursday (9/27) at 5pm will be our first SPS Chapter
Meeting! Be sure to come out for announcements of future events, a fun
physics activity, and snacks!

In addition to the meeting, we will also be going over various physics
demonstrations for people wanting to volunteer for our upcoming "Physics
Day" outreach event, which will be held on October 6th.

If you are unfamiliar with Physics Day, it is a department-wide outreach
event that hosts local and regional high school students interested in
Physics. With this, the Society of Physics Students is in charge of
showcasing various physics-related demonstrations to the students.
Therefore, if you are interested in volunteering for Physics Day or having
any questions about it, please feel free to let me know at the meeting or
by email at csanchez20 at leomail.tamuc.edu. Thanks!

Have a great week!
