Physics Day: I hope everyone is excited for our upcoming Physics Day on April 9th! I have included a simple schedule below for everyone. Ideally, I would like to see all our members volunteering during the entire event, especially during the SPS Demos time slot.

9:30-10am: Arrival, Registration
10:00- 10:45am: Welcoming activity
10:45-11:30am : Building/Lab Tour, Planetarium Demo, SARA Demo
11:30-12:00pm: Faculty Presentations I
12:00-12:45pm: Lunch in the Science Building
12:45-1:15pm: Faculty Presentations II
1:15- 2:00pm: SPS Demos
2:00-2:30pm: Panel Discussion with 4 undergraduates (Mary, Melanie, Darius, Sammy), 1 graduate (Sarah), and 1 faculty.

Please inform me if you will be unable to attend Physics Day. I will provide incentives for those members who do participate (other then the satisfaction of educating and improving the appeal of the Physics Department for future recruits) :-).

Experimenting with Experiments: This upcoming Wednesday, starting at 5pm, I will be in the physics lounge testing out new experiments and setting up our usual ones. I highly encourage all members to attend this session, especially those who are not familiar with the experiments. This session will help you during future physics days and some of your other advanced physics classes.

Officers: There will be an officer meeting this Thursday at 3pm. We will discuss preparations for the upcoming Physics Day.
 Thank you, Bernadette Johnson
