Today Dr. Miskevich was in Dallas helping out the zoo so I spent the entire day researching information on my project. My project involves binding antibodies to a silica (glass) surface. These are to be used in identifying bacteria in a given area. I have learned a lot about the various terms and techniques involved in this procedure and look forward to starting in the lab tomorrow morning.
