Yesterday (the 19th), I practiced dissections some more and then filtered 
the DNA I had finally finished purifying over the past week by placing it in 
a 0.2 micron filter and centrifuging it after adding some 1% of Fast Green.  
I then injected my prepared DNA into some tadpoles and performed the 
electrophoresis on them.

Today (the 20th), I was disappointed to see that none of the 14 tadpoles I 
injected the day before survived so they could be imaged.  I injected about 
40 more of them today.  I hope to be able to have preliminary images for my 
presentation on Friday, for which I began preparing my PowerPoint today.
