Today, I ran a column to purify the first ionic liquid I synthesized and
used in a reaction.  Not all the impurities were separated even though the
hnmr showed fairly good results, and tommorow I will filter the solid which
had formed after ch2cl2 was added, and check with the tlc to see it the
ionic liquid is pure.  I also transfered compounds from nmr tubes to plastic
vials and prepared them to be cleaned.
