I attended the presentation seminar this morning and then checked my 
transfections.  They were not good enough to image today either, which may 
possibly have something to do with the tadpole's age (they tend to have a 
great deal of autofluorescence as they get older).  We have more tadpoles 
coming in next Tuesday, but, unfortunately, they will not be developed 
enough to transfect until the end of the week.

Even though we do not have good transfected neurons, I dissected out a brain 
anyway to see if the new weight would hold it still enough in the perfusion 
box for imaging.  That didn't work out, so we are trying to come up with new 
solutions.
