Today I checked the tadpoles I injected/electroporated yesterday under the 
wide-field fluorescent microscope.  I then took the decent specimens (not as 
good as the two that died yesterday) down to the confocal microscope to 
collect images and collect data.  I also injected/electroporated some more 
tadpoles for imaging tomorrow.

The Kanamycin/GCAMP culture did not grow again (most probably because of 
faulty LB medium) so we began a new culture (again!) with some medium that 
should be good.
