Hello everybody,
If you have not already, please register for spring semester classes NOW!
Your registration is crucial, because after Thanksgiving the department has to start considering which classes we may need to cancel due to a lack of enrollment. Any class with fewer than 10 students enrolled is at risk of cancellation.
You can see our schedule of classes and current enrollment at this website, which takes an unreasonably long time to load (up to a minute sometimes): https://appsprod.etamu.edu/Schedule/Schedule.aspx?Term=202620&Dept=PHAS
Any 489 classes require special permission from me to enroll in and likely isn't open for general enrollment.
As always, you can add, drop, or change your course selections as many times as you want between now and the first day of spring classes (Monday Jan 12) at no cost! So if you are unsure about a class, sign up anyway and drop it later if you suspect it is too much for you - at the very least we will learn that there is interest in a class so we won't cancel it!
If you have not already, please come talk to me about your spring class plans. My job is to keep you on track to graduate on your schedule. Our 300-level classes are only taught once a year, and our 400 level classes are only taught every two years. I know that is confusing, and that is why I am here to help!
If you have holds on registration, please talk to your academic advisor as soon as possible to sort these out. If you don't know who your academic advisor is, I can find out for you.
Thanks, and best wishes with the end of the semester!
Cheers,
Dr. Williams
