Hi all physics undergraduate students,
Recently, TAMU - College Station has received a fund from Texas government for an undergraduate students semiconductor summer research program.
This is a joint program between TAMU-College Station and other A&M system universities in Texas.
If you are interested in Semiconductor Physics and Engineering career, contact me for details.
Each student should do research (or start soon) in a semiconductor related-field (Dr. Chourasis, Dr. Park, or EE faculty on campus).
A summary for the program.
10-wk period that will be on-campus at TAMU-College Station (May 28-Aug. 2, 2024)
$6k stipend “fellowship” for the 10 week period.
$500 travel allotment (to cover driving or flight to college station for the 10-wk period).
Either on-campus student housing, or the equivalent stipend ($2,100) to cover housing for the summer.
Student will continue to do the research at A&M-Commerce after coming back from College Station by collaborating with College Station research groups.
The summer program application must be sponsored by me. So contact me for details.
Semiconductor Physics and Engineering program in A&M-Commerce from Fall 2024 under Engineering Physics Emphasis
We (Physics department) will launch a Engineering Physics program in Fall 2024 focusing on semiconductor physics and engineering.
These all new programs are aligned with the US Congress CHIPS ACT and Texas Government CHIPS ACT.
