Hello Robin,

Could you please forward the attached flyer and application to Sophormore and Juniors of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics majors and encourage them to apply for this outstanding internship opportunity. We will be selecting one applicant for this internship at College Station. You may use the following verbiage in your email.

"We are inviting applications for a 10-week summer research program (May 22 - July 28) at Texas A&M College of Medicine at College Station. This program is called DRUMR (Developing and Readying Underrepresented Minority Researchers and is supported by National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

One (1) highly competitive candidate who meet the following requirements and commitments:

*        Interested in Biomedical Research related to the focus area of National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

*        Commit to spend the entire 10 weeks at the Texas A&M College of Medicine from May 22 to July 28 at College Station. The program will start on May 22, 2023.

*        Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2024 summer for a Research Day to help judge DRUMR poster presentations.

*        Your career goals congruent with NIDDK-related biomedical research.
You may find more information about this program including stipends and eligibility criteria in the attached flyer. If you are interested in the program, please complete the attached application by March 10, 2023, and send it to SRI at tamuc.edu<mailto:SRI at tamuc.edu>"
