Hi all students,
It is from the guest yesterday, Dr. Aaron Kyle Jones.

Here is a link to the programs offered by MD Anderson, the SURP program is the one I could not quite recall last night:
https://www.mdanderson.org/education-training/degrees-programs/summer-research-programs.html<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.mdanderson.org_education-2Dtraining_degrees-2Dprograms_summer-2Dresearch-2Dprograms.html&d=DwMFAg&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=oW0cJCgG9kL3hewogz7V9J0OTS6PpWhN7lR7LkypiUg&m=TAz4DLajKtBerjJs574vXuvcpcxBxepT7fpXPX6p-Cv7fcd5Y32DhVZNWL3Ka9rP&s=F5rnNzQ9gwodlZ16j5e2QKziOl0jfFPCzxhP2GTErDM&e=>
The CPRIT programs are also listed there, and some others with more specific eligibility requirements but that may be worth looking into for some of your students.
I’ll note that the SIRP program (not to be confused…) is intended more for pre-med or med students, and the type of research done in that program may not be a great match for prospective medical physics or biophysics students.
