Hey Dr. M,

We recently had a colloquium speaker at the lab (Danny Price, International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research at Curtin University) talk about the work he and several members of SETI are doing with machine-learning and signal processing. Just wanted to put their REU program on your radar or the SPS radar for next year.

Seemed like an excellent opportunity for any students interested in astronomy to get their feet wet and develop skills that would be really valuable in several fields.
