*New Physics REU program at UW Bothell*

Applications are open for the new Physics Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB).
The UWB Physics REU <https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.uwb.edu_physics_reu&d=DwIBaQ&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=s49NVtlL2c5f9JQVYoj_b6vh7CHE1yvUfq_WobyDO4k&m=M5cmWHtc-3D6AWQFp_b1HqfIVkCdxMw7p61s2oSgGxQ&s=O31kcd-AM1D9ffmiLuBVyZwTlK7ligGeeBn02Z_lBj4&e= > will host undergraduate research students for 10 weeks during the summer to participate in research projects, professional development activities, and an introduction to research-oriented careers in physics and astronomy. The program research areas include computational physics and astrophysics, gravitational wave astronomy, physics education research, and experimental condensed matter physics*. The UWB Physics REU program for the summer of
2021 may be a hybrid of online and on-campus activities, with the option to participate fully online*. Interested students should complete the online application <https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.uwb.edu_physics_reu&d=DwIBaQ&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=s49NVtlL2c5f9JQVYoj_b6vh7CHE1yvUfq_WobyDO4k&m=M5cmWHtc-3D6AWQFp_b1HqfIVkCdxMw7p61s2oSgGxQ&s=O31kcd-AM1D9ffmiLuBVyZwTlK7ligGeeBn02Z_lBj4&e= > by February 15.
