We are very excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the Summer 2022 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) at Washington State University<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__physics.wsu.edu_reu&d=DwMFAg&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=ClC0dKui16NsesUATLpQgnMUgkdQBfRjO_qQut95l7c&m=7qYnWLTRfqs-AZavd1KGwocDqKJdEm62W-o8ET-u4AQ&s=fY34NVP0YMko4N8JbSIpeV60BOC2sG0dbFm2lgfGEdw&e=>! We would like to ask you to encourage undergraduate students at your institution who are completing their degrees in Physics, Astronomy, Engineering or related fields to apply.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy will offer paid summer research internships through our NSF-funded REU program where students will explore how wave concepts are manifest in a broad range of physics and astronomy subfields through individual research projects and interactions with others. See our promotional video<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.youtube.com_watch-3Fv-3DI5okmnNuLfQ-26feature-3Demb-5Fimp-5Fwoyt&d=DwMFAg&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=ClC0dKui16NsesUATLpQgnMUgkdQBfRjO_qQut95l7c&m=7qYnWLTRfqs-AZavd1KGwocDqKJdEm62W-o8ET-u4AQ&s=3mNppjtmGm_3He-BdbcbFlVhRurHXFdmwK0_R83LcvE&e=> for the Physics and Astronomy program.
