[phas-grad] Colloquium Speaker Lunch/Dinner and Tuition Remission

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope this email finds everyone well. Before the cold weather strikes
this weekend, we have our colloquium speaker, Dr. Luke Rice from UT
Southwestern, who will be giving a presentation titled, "Using
physical approaches to look under the hood of microtubule dynamics and
regulation, a fundamental process in cell biology." The flyer can be
found below.

If anyone is interested, two of us grad students will have the
opportunity to have lunch with the speaker on Thursday from 11:15 to
12:30. This would be a good opportunity to talk with the speaker and
ask questions about his research, school, or any other questions you
may have. Let me know if you are interested and I will let Mrs. Dale
know.

In addition, there is the possibility of joining the speaker for
dinner. For the dinner, I am uncertain of the specifics. If interested
in that, contact Mrs. Dale and she can give specifics.

As a final topic, because of the issues some of our classes having
been posted for the 29th, there have been issues with tuition
remission. If you are having issues with this, please let me and Mrs.
Dale know.
