[phas-grad] Reminder: Department Recognition, Awards, and Sigma Pi Sigma induction tonight!

[Kurtis Williams]

Even if you did not RSVP, all are welcome to attend the Annual Physics and Astronomy Department Graduate Recognition & Departmental Awards / Sigma Pi Sigma Induction, and Favorite Dinosaur Reveal tonight!

Festivities begin with three of our students presenting colloquia in room 127 at 4pm; please come if you are able!

Dinner will start in the McFarland Science Building Lobby around 5 tonight (perhaps a bit after if colloquium runs late), followed by the ceremony in the Planetarium.

Unfortunately, Chicken Briyani will not be served this evening, but the multiple requests for it have been noted and it will appear at a future departmental event.

Anyone who has time to help set up tables and decorations in the lobby at 3:30pm, please stop by to help.

Anyone who has photography experience is welcome to help photograph the events.

Cheers,
Dr. Williams
