Wish I could make it.  As a first semester student and online it would be great to interact directly with everyone!  However, it is a slightly long drive (from Corpus Christi) lol.

Hi, All:

 

I also wanted to send a final invitation for you all to come. If you’re on the fence, just come for a while - you’ll be glad you did (I often make decisions based on what I think I’ll wish I’d done at some point in the future :-)

 

We’ll have live music (bring an instrument if you’d like to join), and here’s the menu (with a lot of vegetarian options).  There will be leftovers and we will appreciate it if you do take some with you:

 

*	Brisket (about 20 lbs)
*	Walnut Chicken
*	Mac and Cheese 
*	Scalloped potatoes
*	Green Bean Casserole
*	Deviled eggs
*	Ham/Cream cheese roll-ups (I love these)
*	Dolma (grape leaves wrapped around spiced rice - delicious)
*	Fruit Salad
*	Baked Beans
*	Bulgar/Potato appetizer 
*	Humus 
*	Chips and Salsa
*	(Etc.)
*	Water/soft drinks/beer/wine

 

White elephant gift exchange - bring something to participate (we’ll have a few extras), and again, entertainment is the goal, so don’t feel like you need so overspend.  Years ago we had some Ronald and Nancy Reagan slippers that came back year after year!

 

Don’t worry about RSVP’ing - just come - the more the merrier!
