Subject: High need for additional physics adjunct faculty at Collin College

**External Email**
Hello all,
First, I wanted to say that you all did a great job hosting the zone meeting a few weeks ago. It was the first zone meeting I have been able to attend in several years, but I have been attending them since the early '90's. It was great to be back at one, and I appreciate the program you put together. Great work!

I came back to Texas in 2016 as an administrator so it has been hard to attend these meetings! I am moving to the Frisco Campus in May to start as a dean, so it will be even harder to attend physics or astronomy meetings, so I really appreciated your meeting!

The main reason I am emailing is to let you know that we have a high need for additional physics adjuncts at Collin College, at multiple campuses including our iCollin virtual campus. We require at least a bachelor degree to teach labs for us, but generally are looking for at least a masters. I was told that we have successfully hired at least one of your grads from the MS teaching emphasis track. And of course, if any of your faculty wanted to teach for us we would welcome that too.

I do think we are going to have a full-time professor position open at our Frisco Campus for the fall. It is not advertised yet, but people can contact me if they are interested. Again, a masters will be the minimum requirement, PhD preferred.

Here is the link to apply to teach as an adjunct at Collin College:

We also have a pool just for the virtual campus. The link for that pool is here:

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
