Dear Dr. Montgomery,

Multiple students from your institution have been admitted and enrolled in our graduate programs in Physics and Planetary Science at the University of Central Florida over the past few years. Given the increased relative representation of students from your institution within our graduate programs, we write today in the hopes that you might consider posting/sharing some of our recruitment materials around your department/with your undergraduate students. To this end, I have attached suitable posters and flyers. Our department chair has informed me that we are more than happy to reciprocate by posting and sharing any recruitment materials that you might wish to send in return.

We also have a virtual open house taking place this Friday (Oct. 28th) from 2:00-5:00 PM and would greatly appreciate if you might be willing to advertise the event with your undergraduate majors. The event will be specific to our programs, but most likely offers a representative picture indicative of many aspects common to graduate programs in physics across the country, such that even students not necessarily interested in our programs could potentially benefit from participation. I have also attached a flyer that can be used to advertise this event and provide a link below that can be used by students to register to attend.
