Hi, All:

I wanted to bring this to your attention especially if you are a new Graduate Student.  The Graduate School sends out “Grad News” every Friday morning.  This mailing should be going to every currently enrolled graduate student.  It contains generally useful information, but of particular utility is the list of Important Dates down at the bottom.  This one already includes dates for thesis submission, thesis proposal submission, etc.  So you can just save one of these and you’ll have those dates in a place where you know you can find them.

For those of you that are Thesis students, please note that you can dial your browser to “tamuc.edu/thesis<http://tamuc.edu/thesis>” and it will take you directly to the Thesis page that contains all the information you need for the process.  If you’ve never been there, I strongly encourage you to visit there now just for a look around and to see the major steps involved!

 Writing Lions' Lounge (WLL)

 What is the WLL?
WLL is a virtual writing group. It meets via Zoom, but the time is spent WRITING!

Who should attend WLL?
WLL is open to all Lions, especially students working on their theses or dissertations. Faculty hoping to disseminate their research and scholarly works are also encourage to attend. Also, please invite graduate students--particularly those working on their theses or dissertations.

When will the WLL be open?
Beginning  September 13th, the Writing Lions' Lounge will  be hosted EVERY morning from 9 am - 10 am
