2021 Federation Graduate Student Research Symposium

This year's symposium will be a virtual event hosted by the Federation of North Texas Area Universities

Abstracts are now being accepted with a deadline of Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 5:00 pm.
Limited to only 20 entries from each university
Doctoral and Master students in the following graduate disciplines may submit research posters in the following categories:

  1.  HUM – Humanities, Education, Social Sciences, & Business; or
  2.  STEM – Mathematics, Science, & Technology

Cash Awards given:
1st place - $500
2nd place - $250
3rd place - $100

The thesis or dissertation is the culmination of your learning process and the most complex academic paper you will have to produce on your way to a master’s or doctoral degree. It is meant to show your capabilities as an independent researcher, subject matter expertise, and academic writing skills.  However, the writing process rarely runs smoothly. You are likely to procrastinate, feel stressed and lost throughout the writing process. And it’s completely normal, given the complexity and significance of this project.
