On behalf of Jennifer L. Schroeder, Dean of the Graduate School

Dear Graduate Faculty,

The Graduate School hopes you and your families are staying safe and healthy. We realize with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic that many of you and your students have had to make adjustments. Because of this added stress, especially during the first week of transitioning to totally online classes, the Graduate School is extending, by one week, its proposal and final thesis/dissertation deadlines for Spring 2020. Below are the new, extended deadlines.

· Last day to submit final thesis or dissertation to the Graduate School (TDS at tamuc.edu<mailto:TDS at tamuc.edu>): Friday, April 10th
· Last day to submit thesis/dissertation proposals to the Graduate School (TDS at tamuc.edu<mailto:TDS at tamuc.edu>) for spring approval: Friday, May 1st

We are sending this information to thesis and dissertation students as well, but please share this information with any other students who may need to know of this change in deadlines for the spring 2020 semester. Please know, this change in submission deadlines does not delay students’ graduation.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Karin Thomas, BA

Thesis & Dissertation Specialist
