Hi, All:
I just wanted to bring this to your attention directly. This is from yesterday’s “GradNews”. (If you’re not receiving GradNews every Friday please let me know, as that is the Grad School’s pipeline for getting important information to you).
Spring 2020 Grades
Grades will be awarded according to the standard schedule at the close of the semester. The current grades due date is May 11, 2020.
* Students will then have until June 5, 2020 to request a change in their grading rubric from the traditional (A, B or C) to S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory)
* For masters students, grades of A, B, or C may be changed to an S.
* The grade of S vacates all previous grades for the same course, but does not factor into GPA.
* For doctoral students, grades of A or B may be changed to an S.
* The grade of S vacates all previous grades for the same course, but does not factor into GPA.
* For Spring 2020 only, grades of S (satisfactory) and U (unsatisfactory) will not be factored into institutional GPA.
* Once students have elected to change to the S/U system, students cannot later request a change to the traditional grading scale.
Best regards,
Matt
