<p>To guarantee that all syllabi are available on the official class schedule <strong>
at least one week before classes begin on January 12, 2026</strong>, departments will need to
<strong>collect and submit all Spring 2026 syllabi no later than Monday, December 22, 2025</strong>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Before submitting syllabi for upload, <strong>please ensure that all assignment dates, deadlines, and grading elements are current and accurate</strong>. Advising has reported multiple instances this semester where incorrect or outdated deadlines in syllabi
led to students receiving automatic zeroes. This is a <strong>quality issue that reflects a concerning lack of attention to detail</strong>, and we must work together to prevent such occurrences moving forward.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Please note the following important dates:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2"><strong>December 22, 2025</strong> – Deadline for departments to submit syllabi for upload<o:p></o:p></li><li style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2"><strong>December 24, 2025 – January 2, 2026</strong> – University closed for winter break<o:p></o:p></li><li style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2"><strong>January 5, 2026</strong> – Final deadline for completion of syllabi uploads to the class schedule<o:p></o:p></li></ul>
<p>Given the university closure period, it is essential that all syllabi be submitted before the break to allow sufficient time for processing and uploading once offices reopen. Your cooperation in meeting these deadlines—and in ensuring the accuracy and quality
of all submitted syllabi—will help support student success and maintain high academic standards across the college.<o:p></o:p></p>
