<div>However, I have one suggestion.</div>

<div>When we were Texas A&M University-Commerce, we often advertised ourselves as "A&M-Commerce". </div>
<div>I believe that was a significant mistake. The acronym “A&M-Commerce” was unclear. </div>
<div>Only those of us affiliated with the university knew what it referred to; most people did not recognize it as a university.</div>

<div>I think we are making a similar mistake by using "East Texas A&M" without including “University.”</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Several students have also mentioned that many people do not know what “East Texas A&M” is.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>So, I strongly suggest that we use the full university name in the logos on the flyer.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The university upper admin also should consider using the full university name on road signs, especially on I-30. </div>
<div>Whenever people see a sign of "East Texas A&M University", they will remember that there is a university near Greenville and Sulphur Spring.</div>

for engineering programs, and I was a good Lion and used official fonts, colors, pictures, and logos (the atom is our department’s assigned logo).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
