If you use Inclusive Access for a textbook or are considering using it, please see the important email from Ricky Dobbs below that outlines how you need to go about setting it up.

Colleagues
This past fall, with the change in ownership of our bookstore, we had a number of pricing anomalies that led to significant increases in cost to students in courses for which we have Inclusive Access arrangements.
As a reminder, Inclusive Access is a pricing arrangement that allows for a lower cost to students as well as direct billing to their accounts and immediate access to course materials at term start. Once upon a time, this was a publisher-faculty-department kind of arrangement with a lot of moving parts. The former East Texas Bookstore stepped in and streamlined the process.
Ms. Baker and Mr. Ball heard out faculty concerns and took leadership in connecting with Bibliu to express concern at the apparent jump in student costs. The result was a resolution which will bring those under control.
To help ensure our students receive the full benefit of this understanding, please let department heads and faculty know the following:
1.) Inclusive Access is a good thing for our students.
2.) If you are approached by a publisher rep that has a good product available through Inclusive Access, please consider it.
3.) If you decide to adopt a product via Inclusive Access, connect that rep to Mr. Wiley or Ms. Bowen (copied), who can best ensure that the Inclusive Access arrangement is implemented.
4.) DO NOT make these arrangements on your own because without the bookstore "in the loop" there's a good chance the savings will not make its way to the student.
Thanks to Travis and Sarah for their leadership in this effort. Contact me should you have any questions.
