[phas-faculty_staff_others] Spring textbook adoptions

Good afternoon,

Lydia will soon be contacting you with instructions regarding spring textbook adoptions; please get that information to her within the next week so we can get the department's information submitted on time.

A few reminders and some minor changes to the process:


1)    You can specify a textbook as required or optional - if the text is not required, please make sure to make that clear.

2)    The Bookstore is asking that we try not to request old editions or out-of-print editions of texts.  While many students can do this and save money, we do have several classes of students who must buy their books through the bookstore for financial aid reasons, and the bookstore is having increasing trouble stocking old editions.

3)    Please double-check and submit ISBN numbers for the texts you are requiring.
