FYI. The Chicago Manual of Style is the version used by the American Astronomical Society journals; I don’t know if Phys Rev uses it or not. But if your journals use it, please give it a whirl, please have your grad and undergrad students use it, and be sure to fill out the linked survey.

Waters Library currently has an active trial period for the Chicago Manual of Style Online through January 31, 2025. The Chicago Manual of Style Online provides full access to the latest edition of the Chicago Manual of Style and includes information about both notes and bibliography style and author-date style citations.

Please ask your faculty and students to utilize this resource during the trial period and let us know via the feedback survey<https://tamuc.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5aP1T1NFcwh1Hka> if this is a database that you would like to see in the library collection. In FY25 we are canceling many electronic resources because of a reduced budget, so subscription to the Chicago Manual of Style Online will require high usage and a good number of responses in our Trial Feedback Survey, so we appreciate any feedback that is provided to help us make a decision.
