[phas-faculty_staff_others] Homecoming 2023 T-Shirts and participation

[Kurtis Williams]

Hi y'all,

This year's homecoming theme is "Beyond the Stars." The choice of theme was inspired by growing student and university excitement over April's total solar eclipse.

Although our department including myself has never seemed to care much about homecoming, I'd like to see us participate in some of the events, including office decorations, door decorations, and perhaps a few other things. Though perhaps a little silly, participation could really increase our visibility and help fuel eclipse excitement. But more on that in a week or so.

In the short term, the Department is willing to pay for all department faculty and staff to get one Homecoming 2023 T-shirt (pictured below; model not included). Just send me an email or stop by my office to let me know what size you want. Deadline is start of business on Monday.

Cheers,
Kurtis
