[phas-faculty_staff_others] [phas-dept] Student worker temporarily in department office

Hello everyone,

As you know, we are temporarily without a department admin.  The job has been posted (R-066578 Administrative Associate III on Workday), and I hope to start evaluating applications by the end of the week.  If you know somebody you'd like to see apply, please encourage them to do so quickly!

Until the position gets filled (likely toward the end of the month), we have a student worker, Kayla, who will be sitting in the department office some mornings.  Her job is mainly to answer the phone, take messages, and to be a presence in the office.  Feel free to say hello if you see her!

Kayla will be unable to make purchases, make reimbursements, or help with any bureaucratic issues.
