I have been using overleaf for years and also recommend, in general I use the git feature to work locally, I think that would be great to have it.

Best,
Ronaldo.

I use the free regular Overleaf for projects involving 2 to about 40 people. I create the projects and then share the link with collaborators to work on the projects.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been starting to do ever more LaTeX composing using Overleaf (overleaf.com<http://overleaf.com>) to the point that I will probably be getting the “Collaborator Upgrade” (up to 10 collaborators can work on a document together), but it is moderately expensive.

I was wondering how many of you use Overleaf and either have an upgraded subscription or might be interested in one. If there is enough interest in the department, I’ll also ask around the College of Science and see if we might be able to convince the college (or better yet the university/library) to look into an institutional license.

So, if you think you’d be interested, please just send me a short email.

Also, I have updated the MS Thesis LaTeX template so that it does automatic table of contents, figure and table referencing, and in-text citations. Once my current student gets her thesis formatting approved I’ll send it to the grad school, but let me know if you want a beta test copy in the meantime. (If we get an institutional overleaf account, overleaf would have it stored and automatically load it for any student to use….)

Cheers,
Kurtis
