[phas-faculty_staff] 3 Day Physics and Astronomy camp for high school students in Texas (Wed - Fri)

Hi all,

We talked about this program a few months ago.
This year we will have three students from a high school in Arlington.
The program begins tomorrow (Wed) and will end on Friday, June 12 - June 14.
You may see young students in the building this week.
Kent, Bahar and I are in charge of the program this time.

We will cover three topics this summer.
1. Astronomical image analysis using computers
2. Solar energy and electricity, and its energy conversion
3. Organic semiconductors

Each student pays $80 for two nights in on-campus housing with 7 meals.
So, the department invests money to the program.
We will discuss the program after finishing it on effectiveness in advertising our department, community service, etc.
