Hi folks,

Please see the email from CIO Tim Murphy to the faculty senate about a new warning message that will be appearing on many of your emails.

In order to help prevent phishing emails, we are going to start appending a warning message to all outside emails.  The message is below.  I’m volunteering y ’all to help us find the emails that should be whitelisted.  For example “TAMU.edu<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__TAMU.edu&d=DwIF-g&c=oqyuZuih6ykib6aKiBq22_bich4AVfYGoLertJN0bEc&r=tU36pxWkoALKwpGtfSAp0CablQ_JpUXbsQvKUSpWdh8rUA7JwV8aG9zX6rfTrHgS&m=z7o0nhU4ElxC4IuRd9t5YXEZuSiIgyLU_WP09dB8Q9E&s=OTQsFDDGp3pe5LWSPpMhuEY5Dh5aFUnBaapprQcUCXY&e=>”, “workday”, etc.   Hopefully this warning will give people pause whenever someone sends them a link wanting their credentials.  Rick will be setting you up to get the warning.  Please let him know the email domains that have the warning but aren’t a concern.
