We are currently accepting applications for Learning Assistants (LAs) for Fall 2017. Learning assistants are undergraduate students who help to teach classes. Being an LA is a great way to learn the course material better and to gain teaching
experience! The primary responsibility of an LA is to facilitate group work in PHYS 2425 or PHYS 2426. LAs also attend a weekly prep session (2 hours) and enroll in PHYS 371: Science and Math Education Theory and Practice. PHYS 371 is a one-credit hour course.
Date is TBD based on selected LA’s schedules.
