of Engineering at UNT. The University of North Texas is located in Denton, Texas, which is just 40 miles north of the DFW metroplex. UNT is a student-focused, public, research university; in fact, we were recently named a<span class="x_Apple-converted-space"> </span><a href="https://news.unt.edu/news-releases/carnegie-classification-lists-unt-among-tier-one-research-universities-latest-report" class="" style="color:rgb(149,79,114); text-decoration:underline">tier
