Howdy folks,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Our colloquium speaker this week is Dr. Jennifer Marshall, an astronomer and instrumentalist from A&M College Station. She's working on building instruments for the Hobby-Eberly Telescope Dark Energy Survey and designing instruments for the Giant Magellan
Telescope, a 24.5-m diameter telescope in which the entire A&M system is a partner. Her colloquium will be on the GMT instruments.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>All undergraduate and graduate students are invited to meet with her at 3pm on Thursday (probably room 127) for snacks and a discussion about research and grad school opportunities at College Station, please come!!</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>She will be arriving around noon on Thursday and staying until Friday at 10am. If you would like to meet with her, please let me know the best times so I can build up a schedule. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thanks,</div>
