Undergraduates, please join us in room 135 today at 4 for our first “Town Hall Meeting.” &nbsp;Initially, we will have faculty and students present to talk about whatever concerns you have. &nbsp;Then, the faculty will leave the room and you’ll have a chance to speak
 freely about things you might not want to say in front of faculty. &nbsp;I’d ask that someone volunteer to take notes in your private session, and forward those to me. &nbsp;If possible, it would be best that that person could join us at the beginning of our faculty
 meeting &nbsp;Friday at noon to discuss them.

</div>
<div>And everyone, please join us for our departmental “welcome back” BBQ tomorrow at 5 pm in the lobby. &nbsp;We’ll have burgers, dogs (and vegetarian alternatives), and all the fixins. &nbsp;</div>
