We are currently accepting applications to become a learning assistant (LA) in Fall 2018. LAs are undergraduate students who help to teach PHYS 2425 and 2426. Being an LA is a great way to learn the course material better and gain teaching experience. LA's responsibilities are to facilitate group work in glass and attend weekly prep sessions (1-2 hours). LA's also enroll in PHYS 371 Science and Math Education Theory and Practice, a one credit hour seminar course. LAs are paid hourly.

If you are interested in becoming an LA or would like more information, contact me (robynne.lock at tamuc.edu<mailto:robynne.lock at tamuc.edu>). Applications are available on the bulletin board outside of 135 and on the fridge in the physics lounge.

Applications are due Wednesday, 4/18.
